WTF!?! So on first ave on my way home, there was a place where traffic got moved from 2 lanes to 1. I was in the lane that had to merge. So I put on my signal, and I started to merge. The space I had chosen had more then enough room for me to get in. But the driver in the car that was 2 full car lengths behind the space decided that he needed that space, and he floored it. As if keeping me from putting my car in the huge space in front of him was his life’s mission. He floored it with passion and vigor. His determined pedal stomping pinched me out almost hitting my front fender. I (very calmly) gave him a polite honk to imply. “Maybe you didn’t see me sir. But it’s ok.”….. His response was giving me the finger. Yes, the potbellied, polo wearing, minivan driver gave me the finger. But, I didn’t let it get to me. I drove behind him and made eye contact with him in his mirror, and smiled and waved sarcastically. Once that happened, he got oddly tense. I could see his face in his rearview, and I think it was that moment that he first looked me in the face. Im pretty sure it was easy for him to cut me off and give me the finger when he didn’t have to see my face and appearance. As if that wasn’t enough….. He ‘sneakily’ raised his video phone to film me!!! He kept it close to his passenger side headrest so I would see it?!? Then he changed lanes and slowed down to film the side of me!!! He just snuck the camera slowly up the bottom of his window!!! I felt like I was in a Kids in The Hall sketch or something.

Soooo awkward.
